The Five Steps of Financial Planning- The importance of setting goals for your money, developing a plan to achieve them, and putting the plan into action.
Budgeting- Knowing the benefits of having a budget, knowing the importance of savings.

Saving and Investing On a Shoestring
This "lunch and learn" workshop will present over a dozen strategies to begin a savings program and "find" the money to save. Participants will receive a packet of handouts about saving and the America Saves program.

General Assistance/TANF Budgeting from the basics. A "Bean Game" activity to raise awareness of Tri-County Community Action Agency choices people make in their spending. Materials presented in the formats of the different learning styles, including visual, auditory, kinesthetic, written materials and the last style of interactive. Information provided to stimulate thought with anecdotal stories to keep the class flowing and lively.
