H&R Block is a proud member of New Jersey Saves. We have been working towards making great goals for this organization. Margaret Cappiello has been actively working with Steve Drulis of America Saves to successfully implement this wonderful and very important program. We at H&R Block truly believe in the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education.

 

ALphonse Murasso our Regional Manager and Barbara Cataldo our District Manager have be supporting this program completely.

 

Here is our story from Dottie Williams an H&R Block Tax Professional.

 

We are the District of Ocean, NJ where we have thirteen Tax Offices. This is a story about one Tax Professional in one office in one district, can you imagine when our entire district is a part of this program including every Tax Professional. From there we can move on to the entire Region. 

 

Dottie Williams has been an employee of H&R Block for 20 years. For those of you who do not know everything our company has to offer the clients, please do read on. We do not just do Tax Preparation. We offer different products, and I strive on helping my clients with their taxes and their future. I am able to offer my clients "Savings Accounts" right at my desk. I spend as much time as necessary going over all of our products and strive to find the best saving plain for them. I am very passionate about this program and so proud of myself when I see the excitement on a clients face who has never had a saving account of their own.   

 

I feel I understand a large audience of people. Growing up in a family where we lived week to week due to medical bills, my parents were not able to save money. That meant no saving account and the older my parents got  the more I realized how important saving is.

 

How lucky I was when H&R Block told me about this program they were going to implement and I became enthralled with helping my clients and promoting the wonderful feeling of having a saving account. So many of my clients loved the idea and to date I have open saving accounts amounting to over $22,000 dollars. 

 

My company and I feel this is our goal to our clients, using our knowledge and help teach them how to meet their financial goals.  Thank you America Saves for letting me be a part of this unbelievable program.

 

Remember I am only one Tax Professional, in one Office, in one District. Together H&R Block and Tax Professionals like myself can make dreams happen for our clients. We are a proud member of America Saves.
